The Conchalele Six Pack

Here are the first six Conchaleles..........  Number 5 and 6 are made with Duling farm
grown center cut birds eye cherry...........  That's the best I know of to build these with.
Starting four new large baritones tomorrow......   Then some Tenors.....

They are all baritones.....  The first one is in the middle with 4 on the left and 5 on the right
I finished these two before numbers 3 and 4.  I just recently put strings on them.  They are
the first concert sizes.  Thanks for looking!  Have a funtastic day.

Conchalele invited to the 5th annual Trop Rock Potluck!

Last year this was incredibly fun.  A day of music at Schooner Wharf Bar in Key West!
This year it's on November 4th!!  Hope to see you there!

Conchalele goes to the Mid West with the Island Time Steel Drum Band!

Thanks to the Island Time Steel Drum band!  Dave Herzog and Chuck Fox are on tour in the mid-west and play the Conchalele in a few of their songs......  They just released a Christmas Album too!!!

Went to Ft Myers Beach to do some sanding for the day!  Action Water Sports provided the Chairs and Umbrella!  Makes for a nice office on a Tuesday!

Tampa Bay!

Got to visit friends in Tampa Bay at the Embassy Suites!  Grover Duling and Fred and Marge Roy.
Just a rare pleasure to see them again.  "You just can't make old friends."

Three new Conchalele players in Tampa Florida!  Grover Duling has the Baritone and Fred and Marge Roy have the Concerts..... (the Concerts nearly completed now)  

Looks like they are the Tampa Bay Conchalele Band!

It was so good to see them again........  "Long Live the Conch Republic, and long live each and every on of you!"

National Anthem at Smathers Beach Key West

The 2nd is presently with the Island Time Band touring the Midwest.  Dave and
Chuck are the best!  Conchalele 3 and 4 are Concert size and on the workbench........

Each swimmer is handed a fresh coconut opened and coconut milk ready...

There's magic in the islands......... 

Key West swim competition!

An amazing legacy, to swim around Key West.  That's a 12 and 1/2 mile swim.  The record time this year was 4 hours and 20 minutes.  It took one swimmer over 7 hours.  It's a world wide event and swimmers from the globe always participate.  Makes for a fun day in Key West!  Smothers beach is
a good destination........   I enjoy playing the National Anthem during the start of the race.

Mighty Master Warrior Princess'

These brave and mighty Master Princess' fought brave and won many a fray with the U.S. Coast Guard.  They were heavely armored but out numbered.  The battles were fierce and often on April 24th, 2015.  It was the battle of the Conch Republic Anniversary!  Bisquit dow, toilet paper, and water were the main artillery, with Cuban bread thrown by some.  Thanks to all who helped!

Dave Arnold, Richard Burton, and Boca Chica marina blubbers were very serious about winning this battle!  The Fairwinds was the sailing vessel.  A beautiful 36 Catalina that needed a wash down afterwards!  Looking forward to next years battle!  Thanks Schooners Wharf for the sponsorship!  Only in the Conch Republic can you have this much fun.........
